The lightweight 1-1/8 damped fabric dome nearly eliminates unwanted resonances to produce incredibly flat response from 2.000 to 20.000 Hz. even up to 30?? off-axis. A powerful optimized neodymium motor precisely controls the voice coil and diaphragm for low distortion and incredible detail. With a large copper voice coil and aluminum former the KT-1 is capable of handling up to 80 watts RMS to produce more output than you would expect from a tweeter this small. At only 3 diameter the center to center distance between the tweeter and woofer/midrange can be kept at a minimum for a seamless transition at the crossover frequency. Whether used in a compact 2-way system or a high output 3-way design the KT-1 will provide all of the performance and natural sound you have come to expect from Morel.
