This harness is used when the Oem radio has already been replaced by an aftermarket radio. without the OEM radio plugged in you are not able to adjust the clock left in the dash . This harness connectos to the radio harness and allows you to plug in the OEm radio to make time adjustments and then able to unplug from the OEM radio and be able to be tucked back into the dash for future use.
