The large 1-1/4 voice coil allows excellent high-power handling. both thermally and mechanically. The paper and fiberglass mix offers improved consistency and stability. Distortion is reduced by the efficient venting and an aluminum shorting ring and copper cap stabilizing the magnetic field in the air gap.
